About Us

My name is Remy Schmitt, owner of Beyond Nutrition Health Store. My husband and I immigrated to the Ottawa Valley in 1985. We farmed at first, then worked at the hospital for more than 8 years in the dietary department.

I always wanted to open my own business and have a passion for helping people reach their health goals. I took a correspondence course to further my education and grow my knowledge of the subject.

In April 2000 Beyond Nutrition was born. At first I worked alone six days a week. As the business grow I was able to hire some extra help.

Beyond Nutrition sells hundreds of brands and products including supplements, vitamins, herbs, beeswax candles, local honey and more. Our essential oil collection is vast.

I really Love what I’m doing and I’m willing to work hard to earn my success. I’ welcome the the challenges of owning and operating a business, and Love to serve my community.
